You Can Pick Up Your Grass at Our Office in Arcola
We try to maintain a supply of Raleigh St. Augustine grass at our office so that you can pick up small quantities of grass when you need it. If you need larger quantities of Raleigh St. Augustine or any of our other varieties for pick up, please order your grass ahead of time. Please call our office at 281-431-7441.
Grass pallets are heavy so if you’re planning on picking up grass at our office, you’ll need to come equipped with a suitable truck and maybe a trailer. Our address is:
We sell our grass sod by the piece or half pallet for Raleigh St. Augustine grass for small projects. All of our varieties are available by the full pallet for larger projects.
You can calculate the square footage of your yard by breaking up your yard into rectangles and triangles. Please watch our video describing how to determine the amount of sod you’ll need for your project.
The area of a rectangle is the base times the height and the area of a triangle is one half the base times the height. Add the areas of all of the rectangles and triangles together and you’ll have the total area of your project area. It’s always good to add about five percent to your estimate to account for the corners and trimming that needs to be done around walkways and flower beds.
