He spends the extra money on fertilizer, he spends the extra labor hours, and man-hours taking care of the grass. He has more men per acre working on his farm, to make that farm be the best that it can be. He spends the money on the automated irrigation and the fungicides and the herbicides and everything that keep our grass as clean and green as it can be year round.
Some of our competitors just rely on Mother Nature for it to rain after they cut some grass. They mow it a few times and then cut it and throw it on a pallet. You may laugh a little bit at that statement, but at lot of farms, that is exactly how they do this.
