This is a summary of Michael’s video on what is sod.
What is sod? I would say that, at least around here in this part of the world, we use the term sod and grass kind of interchangeably. People call us every day and some people ask, “How much is your sod?” or “Do you have any grass available?” And we answer to both.
Sod, I would say that it has a little bit more of a, it’s kind of what we do. The sod is what we grow in our fields and harvest and regrow. And I would say that that’s the sod that we palletize and bring up to our place here and resell to the public, that is what I would consider sod. But, if you call us and ask for sod or grass, we answer to both, and in my opinion, they’re kind of interchangeable terms.
