IX Brand SEO ReviewHow much is Zoysia grass? Well, we carry three different types of Zoysia. We carry Palisades Zoysia which is a little bit thicker bladed Zoysia, and we also carry Emerald and Cavalier Zoysia which are our two finer bladed varieties.
We don’t mention prices in the videos because the videos don’t get updated as frequently as the prices change. It’s a lot easier for us to change our price sheet than go make new videos.

I will tell you that all of the Zoysia grasses are probably about $70 or $80 more per pallet than the regular Raleigh St. Augustine.
It Costs Us More to Grow Quality Zoysia Grass
We have fewer acres of Zoysia grass because there’s a lot less demand for it. It’s a much slower growing grass than Bermuda and St. Augustine so we don’t get as many crops out of the land growing Zoysia.
Because a lot of these Zoysia grasses are relatively new, the developers of the grasses get paid royalties on these grasses. The St Augustines and Bermuda grasses have been around forever, so there are no royalties that have to be paid for them.
Our finer bladed Zoysia grasses — Emerald and Cavalier — because they grow the slowest of all those Zoysias are actually a $10 a pallet more than the Palisades Zoysia. All three exceed $200 per pallet and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. In comparison, the St Augustines are probably mid 100s, just generally speaking though.
