– How much does Palmetto grass cost? Palmetto is one of two types of St. Augustine grass that we carry. Palmetto St. Augustine grass is the more shade-tolerant variety of grass, and it’s the one that I recommend to someone who has shade in their yard of some kind.
Palmetto Grass Does Need Some Sun
We do let everybody know that Palmetto grass does need four or five hours of direct sunlight each day. So you can’t lay Palmetto grass sod in a place where it gets little to no sunlight. It won’t grow there.
Palmetto Grass Cost
The current Palmetto grass cost per 450 square foot pallet of that grass is listed on our Pricing page. We only sell Palmetto St. Augustine grass by the pallet. We don’t sell that grass variety by the piece or portions of pallets like we do the Raleigh St. Augustine.
